- It comes faster. The mailing house gets the copies even before we do. Newsstand copies go through a number of hands first.
- It comes in perfect shape. No labels stuck on the cover, no dog-eared pages. The plastic wrapping means it may well arrive in better shape than a newsstand copy.
- It's cheaper. In Canada and the US, for instance, individual copies cost $6.49. With a subscription, you get six issues for $31.25 or 13 issues for $62.50 (applicable taxes are extra in all cases). That's a saving of up to 25%.
